HP 3314A is a multi mode, GPIB (HP-IB) programmable function generator featuring square, triangle and sine function in a range from 0.001 Hz to 19.99 MHz. The 3314A is a very flexible generator, a precision control of tr
igger functions and easy to use. Remarkable is the comfortable PLL function, with to of these instruments it's possible to create e.g. two sine voltages with an adjustable phase angle. Examples are quadrature signals. Also the frequency can be controlled by another sythesizer.
Free Run Mode, signal is continuous or swept

Gate Mode the HP 3314A output is gated on or off

N Cycle Mode the HP 3314A output signal is acounted burst of "N" cycles

1/2 Cycle Mode the HP 3314A output signal is alternate 1/2 cycles

FIN X N Mode locked to and "N" times the reference frequency

FIN/N Mode locked to and "1/N" times the reference frequency

ARB Mode redefined as an Arbitrary Waveform Generator capable of producing user defined waveforms

Amplitude Accuracy +/-1% of display +0.035Vpp, for sine and square (+0.06Vpp triangle)

Amplitude Flatness (10kHz, 1V to 10Vpp) 0.07dB for 20Hz to 50kHz, 0.33dB for 50kHz to 1MHz, 1.5dB for 1MHz to 19.99MHz.
